Here is a list of Hymentoptera recorded at the lake. The Aculeate taxonomy follows the recently published Checklist of British and Irish Hymenoptera - aculeates (Apoidea, Chrysidoidea and Vespoidea) by George Else, Barry Bolton (Formicidae) & Gavin R. Broad (2016).

Most records are from a survey by David J. Gibbs, others my own unless stated, so any inaccuracy is entirely down to me. If anyone has records they'd like to include, please contact me and I will insert and acknowledge them accordingly.

Symphyta: This suborder includes the sawflies, horntails, and parasitic wood wasps.
